On this sure to be lovely late summer night Covenhoven will release his new full length record "The Wild And Free" on both VINYL and CD. Come take part in this special evening at one of Denver's best new live music venues: Syntax Physic Opera.

"After the release of my first record, I wanted to begin again... significantly. With a time and place...a singular feeling. I went to where I knew I could be alone. Really alone. Where a thick silence could wash over and cleanse me. Where the beauty is vast and overwhelming. Each day I wandered the cliffs and basins, with an endless wilderness stretched out before me, and each night I stared into the embers of my small campfire, watching the shadows dance on the rock walls all around me. A curious coyote would occasionally peer out from the dark, and we would meet eyes and consider each other for a brief moment. But always I was alone with my thoughts and this music. That is where this record was born... out of a silent contemplation, alone in the desert.
