A ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration of art donated to the Idaho Botanical Gardens
The Idaho Botanical Gardens (IBG) recently received three recycled metal sculptures which were donated by local artist and business owner, Amber Conger of Refinerii. Refinerii creates everything from intricate jewelry and breathtaking sculptures as small as two feet, and as tall as thirty feet, all from recycled metals. We would like to personally invite you to the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony to introduce and celebrate this generous donation.
The ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony will be held from 11:00AM 11:30AM on Friday, June 3rd, 2011. This event will be free and open to the press, public and government officials, and IBG Members. Amber will give attendees a brief introduction to and discuss the inspiration behind each piece. Three Girls Catering and Tully's Coffee will provide complimentary appetizers and beverages.
On the evening of June 3rd will be a Venetian style Carnevale with a steam-punk twist, to celebrate the donated sculptures. There will be various artists, musicians, fire dancers, belly dancers, aerial silk dancers, and more to entertain you. Tickets are $7 pre-sale and for Idaho Botanical Garden Members, $10 at the Door, children 12 and under free.
