Innocent When You Dream
A new play by Ken Narasaki, INNOCENT WHEN YOU DREAM is set both at the end of a man's life and during a time when his life has been turned upside down. In his dreams, he keeps returning to Grace, a woman he once knew, but could never fully understand. When he finally unravels the secret Grace kept from him and the secret that he should have told her long ago, past and present finally come together and he finds the kind of peace that's eluded him his whole life, while his children get a glimpse of a father they never really knew. Actor and activist George Takei called it "One of the most moving pieces I've ever seen - it's sad, it's funny, it's beautiful and it's important." INNOCENT WHEN YOU DREAM, written by Ken Narasaki (THE MIKADO PROJECT, GHOSTS AND BAGGAGE) won the 2006 Pacific Rim Playwriting Award, and directed by award-winning director Alberto Isaac (THE MAIDS, YANKEE DAWG YOU DIE and many others). Tickets are 15.00 if booked prior to Sept 15th.
