This film is a work-in-progress. This evening, join us for a filmmaker discussion with director Sheila Hardy, who will show a short trailer and discuss her experience of making the film.

The completed documentary will deal with the unknown history of Black women in rock and celebrates their contribution to rock music in the only way they know, Nice & Rough. The film will include artists from the U.S., Canada, and Europe, including Betty Davis, Joyce Kennedy of Mother's Finest, Cindy Blackman, Kudisan Kai, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Siedah Garrett, Nona Hendryx, Lisa Kekaula-Vennum of the Bellrays, Meshell Ndegeocello, Skin (formerly of Skunk Anansie) and more.

A young Catholic nun is dealing with something she has never experienced - erotic love. When the nephew of the Mother Superior seeks refuge at the convent after deserting the army, the two engage in an intimate relationship that will change the course of her life.
