Q&A
Question: |
I could only attend one afternoon. Is there a less expensive ticket? |
Answer: |
Yes, we'll be offering day tickets starting October 15th. The tickets on sale right now are only the reduced price weekend passes. Friday is $35, Saturday is $55 (that's the day our major headliners play) and Sunday is $45. Those prices are not set in stone, but that's approximately what you're looking at. If you have questions, feel free to give us a call at (503)282-0877. Once the day tickets go on sale, you'll be able to purchase them on Brown Paper Tickets. |

Question: |
Is Tommy Emmanuel only playing Friday night? His website says Friday and Saturday. Will he be offering any workshops? |
Answer: |
Yes, Tommy will perform on Fri. night, then he will offer a workshop on Sat. am. |
|
Question: |
What kind of workshop is Tommy Emmanuel offering? How much is it? Any other details available? |
Answer: |
The Tommy Emmanuel workshop is a benefit of attending for the day on Saturday. This is typical Festival style and we offer quite a few workshops. They start the day, and performances start on both stages at 11am and go until midnight. So unfortunately we do not have a separate ticket for Tommy's workshop. As far as the workshop itself, by guess is that it will be a casual chance to ask questions, he'll show some of his tricks. Typcial of a workshop. Thank you for contacting Brown Paper Tickets. There will be national bands/artists featuring bluegrass, western swing, gypsy jazz and roots performances. You may however contact the producer of the event directly to inquire further:Who: Chris PalmerPhone: 503-282-0877Email: chrispalmer@qwest.netWeb: http://www.rivercitybluegrass.com If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at any time.Adel Gonzalez Customer Service Department1-800-838-3006 Ext. 7110adel@brownpapertickets.com |

Question: |
What time is Tommy Emmanuel performing on Friday night? |
Answer: |
We'll have the schedule up on the website over the weekend. But Tommy's set starts at 9pm followed by the fabulous Travelin' McCourys. You may want to know that since the music starts at 4pm, that there will be people who have had seats since then, so I'd advise getting there early. It's a nice big space though. Just sayin'. And if you've never been to a festival-type event, you're really in for a treat. |
