Not To Scale - Smoke Farm LoFi Arts Festival
The 2011 Lo-Fi Arts Festival *Not to Scale features site-specific work in all visual and performance media and happens at Smoke Farm on August 13, 2011.

The Lo-Fi Festival Vision: A 24 hour exploration of installation, performance, and interaction with the Farm which seeks to seed the Farm with narrative and inquiry about place and our use of landscape; providing an unusual opportunity for artists to work in expansive ways within a specific site.

Food: Regional food trucks and produce vendors will be on hand, so bring your cash!  We will also provide grills and charcoal to cook your own. Damiana's Blue Truck Special will slinging lunch for all you goers on Saturday. Viva Farms will be slinging fresh fruit and veggies grown in right in the Skagit for your grilling and snacking pleasure.

Tickets:  Gates open at 12 noon on Saturday August 13.  Tickets are available online until 11am Friday, August 12th. Tickets will still be available at the gate at Smoke Farm.

DISCOUNT OPTION: Bike to the farm and pay only $15! Available only at the gate with bike! (Be sweaty..)

LIMIT OF LIABILITY NOTICE: Smoke Farm is a farm. Event is outdoors. Conditions are primitive. Paths and roads are unpaved. Uneven ground, sharp/heavy objects, open flame, vehicular traffic, noxious plants, wildlife, inclement weather, and other potential hazards & nuisances may be encountered. Bring appropriate shoes and clothing, sun screen, plus whatever keeps you happy and safe. Most of all, bring good sense! Smoke Farm, the Rubicon Foundation, Lo-Fi Arts, their various board members and volunteers are not liable for any injury or loss sustained in connection with this event. Your ticket purchase constitutes acceptance of all liability while at Smoke Farm.

CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES.
NO DOGS PLEASE. We love them. They are hard on the farm.

The Smoke Farm Venue:  As the Farm is invested in conservation and habitat restoration as part of its mission, a lo-tech or no-tech; pack it in, pack it out ethos is central to our approach to the land.  A 360 acre former dairy farm in a serene river valley situated outside Arlington, WA; Smoke Farm focuses on supporting art, science, and philosophy through creative engagement and community work as a project of the Rubicon Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.  

LEAVE NO TRACE: Smoke Farm is a wetlands restoration site. Biodegradable soaps only. Please pack out everything you bring!

Question: Hi there! I am assuming the answer is 'yes' but just want to double check before making my ticket purchase: I am bringing myself and two kids. Do kids need to have their own general admission tickets? thanks!
Answer: Kids under 12 will be admitted without a ticket. All kids under 16 must supervised at all times while at the farm. You are 100% responsible for any children in your group.
 
Question: Trying to purchase tickets and wondering where to enter the bike to the farm discount?
Answer: Bikers pay the reduced rate at the gate, showing their bikes and their sweat as "proof". Cash/check only please.
 
Question: I can't figure out how to pay for the biking option. Should I be looking at a different checkout page? Thanks!

Question: are tickets available at the gate, also, or do they have to be purchased in advance online?
Answer: Tickets will be available at the gate unless we sell out in advance. Cash/check only please.
 
Question: is camping overnight an option, as in past years? thanks and looking forward to another great event!
Answer: Overnight camping is an option, but please know: 1. no fires, 2. pack it in, pack it out - everything, 3. services (such as plumbing) are minimal where they exist at all. Thanks!
