2011 - GGRD - All Stars v Denver, Traitors v Suburbia
Get ready for some hard hitting Roller Derby Action! The Gotham Girls Roller Derby All Stars from NYC's toughest teams take on the Mile High Club from the Denver Roller Dolls. (6pm)
This action is preceded at 4pm by the Wall Street Traitors skating against the Suburban Brawl of Suburbia Roller Derby.
And if that wasn't enough, the whole afternoon kicks off at 2pm with a men's roller derby bout between the New York Shock Exchange and the Harm City Homicide.
Three bouts for the price of one! Make a day of it at Aviator Field, which includes extensive food and drink options on-site.
Doors open at 1pm, and stick around after the final bout for the on-site after-party.

TRANSPORTATION:
Aviator Sports and Events is located in Brooklyn, NY on Flatbush Avenue, just south of Belt Parkway (Exit 11S, Brooklyn, NY 11234). Free parking.
Subway: 2 or 5 train to Flatbush Avenue/Brooklyn College (last stop). Catch the Q35 bus one block south of the train station, at Flatbush Ave. between Nostrand Avenue and Avenue H. Take the Q35 south on Flatbush to Aviator Field.
A DEDICATED SHUTTLE BUS for fans will run continuously throughout afternoon and evening, departing from Hank's Saloon, 46 Third Avenue, at Atlantic Avenue, in Brooklyn. Hank's is convenient to the Atlantic Terminal station, accessible by many subway lines.
Buses for fans are scheduled to leave Hank's at 11am and then every half-hour from noon until 3pm. From 3pm to 11pm buses will loop back from Aviator approximately once an hour.
Buses will be free to go TO the venue but will cost $5 cash to return to Hank's. A one-way shuttle bus drive may take 20-40 minutes so plan accordingly.

Is the map showing the location of the venue correct? I looked up the address separately on Google Maps and it places Aviator Sports at the southern part of Brooklyn, not the middle. |
