Metro Baseball Ambassador Awards to Benefit The Greenpoint Little League
Please join "metroBASEBALL" Magazine on the evening of Monday APRIL 25th as Brooklyn's RED STAR hosts the First Annual "metroBASEBALL" Ambassador Awards, to benefit THE GREENPOINT LIITLE LEAGUE
The "metroBASEBALL" Ambassador Awards recognize NY area individuals and organizations who've demonstrated a life-long commitment to service and our community, and who represent the game of baseball with exemplary class and integrity. Each year, "metroBASEBALL" recognizes an individual or organization from the professional ranks; from the scholastic baseball community; and from the youth sports community. This year's honorees are Jack Curran, the revered baseball coach from ARCHBISHOP MOLLOY HIGH SCHOOL in Queens; and husband and wife Phil and Denise Galasso, the architects behind the GREENPOINT LITTLE LEAGUE in Brooklyn.
The First Annual "metroBASEBALL" Ambassador Awards will take place Monday APRIL 25th at RED STAR in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (37 Greenpoint Avenue in Greenpoint, (718) 349-0149). Cocktails are from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with dinner and the Ambassador Awards to get underway at 8:30 pm. Your co-emcee for the evening's festivities will be Brooklyn's own Ken Dashow, the much-beloved Q104.3 Classic Rock disc jockey.
Your $150 contribution gets you an open bar cocktail hour, dinner upstairs in RED STAR's private event space, autographs, and a special "metroBASEBALL" gift bag. Seating is limited to 50 people, so please make sure to get your tickets ahead of time, as this special event will sell out.
We hope you'll join us APRIL 25th for this worthy cause as we celebrate what's great about the game of baseball, and laud the accomplishments of some truly special people.
