Walking Tour of North Park Dryden Historic District
The event is a 90-minute walking tour of the North Park Dryden Historic District, a neighborhood that began to develop more than 100 years ago. The neighborhood includes many homes designed by recognized master builders in Craftsman and Spanish Revival styles primarily built before 1940. The tour (of home exteriors only) is guided by docents and each tour participant will receive an illustrated guidebook highlighting 30 homes on the tour. Architecture, prominent builders, and patterns of development in North Park will be discussed, using the neighborhood as an open-air classroom.
