Escape from Alcina's Island: A Picnic Operetta (August 22nd at 4:00)
Trucker's beware! Ferocious truck stop waitress, Alcina, is a sorceress in disguise and she's slinging up some magic grub in our guitar-swinging retelling of Handel's 1735 opera.
The Picnic Operetta marks a seven-year tradition of celebrating the harvest with a unique blend of music, food, and storytelling. A five course, chef prepared sampling menu is shared with the audience and used to tell our story.
It's fun for young and old, classical music lovers, foodies and outdoor enthusiasts!
Bring a lawn chair, sunglasses and a beverage. Your own picnic spread is welcome as well!
