Japan Aid SF

Come have fun for a good cause at our benefit concert and raffle for the victims of the Japan earthquake, tsunami, and ongoing nuclear crisis! The death toll has now passed 12,000 with 15,000 people missing. With over $309 billion in damages, they need a lot of support! We believe that every bit counts...and we want to do our part. Join us! There will be live music and some sweet raffle prizes.

WHY YOU SHOULD COME (OR GET A RAFFLE TICKET):

* We were lucky enough to get three totally rad and diverse groups do their thing at the show: Sentinel, Poeticali Distherbd, and Sambaxe

* Order a "Rising Sun" at the event and the proceeds from your drink will go to the cause!

* Admission is $15 and includes one raffle ticket. For the price of a couple of lunches out, or three specialty coffees, you can help those who were affected start to rebuild their lives. We recommend getting your ticket in advance rather than at the door because there's a chance this thing is going to sell out!

* 100% of the ticket price, raffle money, and donations will go to the JCCCNC Northern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. We did a little research and like that the money will go straight to local non-profits and CBOs in Japan for citizen-to-citizen relief efforts reaching those most in need in the most affected areas.

* You DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN A RAFFLE PRIZE!!!! We'll mail it to ya (shipping cost is on us).

* It's going to be fun hang out with other altruistic music lovers and some of our all-time favorite people
