Way of Tea
Step into a Japanese tea salon and experience the magic and mystery of an authentic tea ceremony. Japanese multidisciplinary artist Shizumi Shigeto Manale (recipient of the 2010 Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County Outstanding Artist Award) will perform in kimono this timeless and spiritual artform. Below the salon visitors will delight in tales from the East from renowned storyteller Robert Kikuchi-Yngojo while feasting on Robert's famous Adobo chicken. The event will be held at Shizumi's home, where the rain garden was profiled in the Washington Post. ONLY 20 TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE TO THIS EXCLUSIVE EVENT.
