Figure 8 Theatre's inaugural production of Maria Irene Fornes' controversial masterpiece that rocked the theater world in 1975. The play, set in New England in 1935, follows 8 long time friends holding a meeting to discuss social change. In the the play's second act, the audience moves through four rooms in Fefu's "house" to peek into the private lives of real friends. The historic hall in Woodland Hills that we are performing in is equipped with the perfect space to explore this challenge. Fefu and her Friends is an intimate, immersive, harrowing and hilarious journey through the human experience, and we are excited to bring this important work to a new generation.
Join us for an unforgettable night. Each performance will be followed immediately by a question and answer 'talk back" with the cast and crew, where the audience will have the opportunity to discuss the themes as presented in the play.
