Ian Moore is a prolific singer-songwriter from Seattle who was spawned from the 90's roots rock scene of Austin, Texas and gained popularity as a guitar prodigy. Winner of seven Austin Music Awards including "Best Musician", "Best Band" and "Best Electric Guitarist," he has opened tours for the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, ZZ Top and British icon Paul Weller and has recently played sideman to artists as diverse as Roky Erickson and Jason Mraz. He has performed on hundreds of radio and television programs worldwide including The Late Show with David Letterman, The Today Show, a one hour Direct TV special, as well as a part in Billy Bob Thornton's feature film "Slingblade."

In 2012, he was honored to share the stage with members of Jimi Hendrix's original band at Hendrix's 70th birthday tribute at EMP along with a host of other legendary guitarists. In 2013, he was featured on the cover of Fretboard Journal with Billy Gibbons. Later that year he joined Crosby, Stills & Nash as a featured guitarist and singer at the EMP Founder's Awards Gala honoring CSN for their contribution to the music world. Now as well known for his soulful vocals and insightful lyricism as his stellar fretwork,Moore has been playing stadiums, festivals, theaters and club venues throughout the US and Europe for over two decades. With 4 Top 20 Billboard hits and eight albums to his credit, he continues to mesmerize critics and audiences alike with his riveting live performances.

"Passionate and beautiful acoustic magic."  - Guitar World

"A Texas music icon." - The Examiner

"...filled with shadowy, deep imagery, like a mysterious black-and-white photograph. He doesn't fly with angels: He dances with devils. Instrumentally, the record is equally intelligent filled with dark subtleties, recalling a time when the Beatles experimented with the moodier side of pop. Moore's low, melodic voice is the perfect accomplice to the musical conundrum he has created." - Billboard

"Ian Moore is a stellar songwriter blessed with an absolutely stunning voice." - The Stranger

"His recent albums have positioned him as one of the most soulful singer-songwriters around, and one of the most diverse." - Tucson Weekly

"Ian's heartfelt voice, sultry and exuberant at times, laid a path of gravitating tunes that kept everyone's ears and eyes on him as he surged his talent so easily. Ian's style when engaged in full electric mode is quite powerful, but to see him perform as a solo artist with only his guitar and his voice is quite unique in its own way....Never before have I experienced such a wonderful feel from such a talented performer in such an intimate setting."  - Michael Insuaste JAM Magazine

"In a world of musical sound-alikes Ian Moore is one of the few artists out there without an analogue. Sure, he's got his peers, but he's ballsier than Josh Rouse, bluesier than Josh Ritter, grittier than Matthew Sweet, brainier than Ryan Adams, and more muscular than Grant-Lee Phillips. Moore's transformation from trad bluesman to restless pop chameleon maybe most closely echoed Chris Whitley, who passed away in 2005 at age 45, so really, Moore's out there by himself, a man without a flaga rarity in this day and age. - Stephen Haag

"More than 20 years have passed since Ian Moore was the post-Stevie Ray Vaughan big-shot guitar player in Austin. Moore still has plenty of licks as an instrumentalist, but during the years he's evolved into a masterful power-pop songwriter, with bright lyrics and an easy way with melody. Sometimes he brings the band and things get loud and crunchy. " - Joey Guerra , Houston Chronicle

"Those who have yet to experience the depth of his performances, either recorded or live, would be remiss to categorize him as another guy with a guitar. Sure, it's what catapulted him into the spotlight, but it's his attention to detail that truly makes his music complex and worth a long listen. - Santa Fe Reporter

"Moore effortlessly creates worlds so vivid that one can't help but see his songs in the colors of blood, flesh, and stone."- Dallas Music Guide

"Moore synthesizes soul, country, pop, blues, and whatever other sounds he can grasp and mold into his own coherent vision." - Pop Matters
"A diverse variety of influences - Appalachian, Indian, gospel and roots music among them - lend themselves to a tapestry of sounds that Moore terms "Goth-spel". His smoky, sensual voice sweeps sweetly from soul-drenched depths to soul-stirring heights. With thought-provoking lyrics, he confronts and explores his characters intimately."- Miles of Music

"Moore's greatest asset is his voice balancing a deep calm with an aching urgency." - Entertainment Today

"Moore relies on his sophisticated songcraft and soulful, sometimes soaring tenor to create songs surprisingly rich in atmosphere and emotion." - Washington Post

"Moore's show is a layered emotionally entrancing live set." - Pop Culture Press

[Aerie]...smart songs that range from pensive to rollicking. Moore's voice is soulful, and he serves up plenty of hot/cool guitar licks to keep six-string freaks interested" - Jim Beal, San Antonio Express News

" A masterful power pop singer songwriter" - Houston Chronicle
