RULE OF is an ongoing series that premieres 7 brand-new 10 minute plays by 7 different writers. For each show, every playwright comes up with one rule, then the 7 playwrights create new plays using all 7 rules.
Rule 1 | MATT B'S RULE: The last line of the play must be identical to the first line.
Rule 2 | STEPHANIE'S RULE: Diane.
Rule 3 | JORDAN'S RULE: Jamboree.
Rule 4 | DAN'S RULE: During one line of dialogue, a single word must be repeated seven times.
Rule 5 | BRETT'S RULE: "Her breasts felt like ___" OR "His penis looked like ___."
Rule 6 | DONALDO'S RULE: At some point, pills are taken.
Rule 7 | MATT C'S RULE: The Hamptons.
Fan Favorite Bonus Rule | One character must attempt to tell a joke, but not be allowed to get to the punchline.
