Philly Roller Girls 2007 Season Opener
The Philly Roller Girls start their official 2007 season with this exciting opener: the grudge match between the Heavy Metal Hookers and the Hostile City Honeys.
When they last faced off in the sultry heat of August 2006, the two teams stayed neck-and-neck through the whole match. But the Hostile City Honeys reigned victorious in the final jam of the evening, and won by 1 single point. The Heavy Metal Hookers clenched their teeth and swore revenge when they came to meet again.
This season the uniforms for the two teams may look a little different, and some new faces may be skating with them but each team carries a burning desire to annihilate the other.
Will the Honeys be able to pull off another last-minute win? Or will the Hookers finally taste the thrill of victory? Come and find out!
All ages are welcome. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are on sale at 700 Club (700 N. 2nd St.), Crash Bang Boom, and coming soon to phillyrollergirls.com. You may also buy your tickets at the door.
Shuttle between the Sportsplex and the Septa Trevose station (R3 line), $1 per trip.
