Lancaster Story Slam Storytelling Workshop
So, you've been to a couple of Story Slams and think you'd like to tell a story yourself. Perhaps you're worried you'll embarrass yourself. Maybe you're not certain you even have a story. We believe everyone has a story to tell. Every. One. Whether you've never told a story live onstage or you've stepped to the mic a few times but would like to learn new tips on effective storytelling, let us help you. Our two hour storytelling workshop consists of lecture and exercises to get you ready to participate in a story slam. Our workshop will cover: What Makes a Good Story, Story Structure, Use of Descriptive Language, Presentation Tips. We'll also discuss how to dig deep to find your own meaningful story. Our Lancaster Storytelling workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 18th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Tellus360 (24 E. King Street.) We will meet in the An Sibin space. $20.00 Registration plus fee. Arrive early, order dinner and a pint and join us.
