The Oracle Gatherings are a growing series of multi-media events, workshops and forums lead by a collective of participating artists. These musicians, performers, visionaries, and eclectics collaborate to express the archetypal experiences that influence the greater community. It is our mission to provide the environment and support that encourages artistry, creativity and transformational experiences through myth.

There are twenty-three cards that form The Oracle Gatherings Tarot Deck, encompassing a range of archetypal themes that become the basis for each future event as they are drawn. Themes include The Gypsy, In the Garden, Behold the Buddha, Atlantis and The Senses. Every invitation is an Oracle Gatherings tarot card that can be collected to eventually complete the deck. Invitations are places at participating stores, homes and locations throughout the west coast, with a focus on Capitol Hill & The U District in Seattle. The details of each event are printed on the bottom, which can be separated from the tarot card portion of the invitation.

The events draw artists of many genres, including DJ's, musicians, dancers, visual artists, actors, video artists, circus performers, and culinary artists who share in creating the fullest experience of the theme. Those who have been to an Oracle Gathering before have come to expect ceremony, music, dancing, tarot card readers, yoga, meditation, massage, chai, art instillations, culminating in a ritual theater production. This formula is what sets these gatherings apart from all other theater, club, and art events. By infusing spirit and celebration, many people have found an open, inviting community waiting for them in the Oracle.

Ocean deep is the 13th gathering of this series and will explore the life and flow of the deepest places on the earth as well as the deepest parts of ourselves. You are encouraged to come in costume and join us as we find sunken treasure through dance and the experiences weshare together.
