17th Annual West Seattle Garden Tour
The West Seattle Garden Tour celebrates the art of gardening for its 17th year on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This year's self-guided tour showcases ten spectacular residential gardens, including a 2.5-acre estate garden, and includes a noontime lecture by Sue Goetz on Perennial Creativity. Tickets are $15 per person (children 12 and under are free) and are currently available at our Seattle area ticket outlets. Ticket vouchers may be purchased online from brownpapertickets.com. Vouchers or print at home ticket vouchers must be redeemed for ticket books the day of the Tour at West Seattle Nursery.
As a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, WSGT donates all net proceeds from the tour to local non-profit organizations that promote educational and horticultural projects and community gardens. Our 2011 beneficiaries are: ArtsWest Theatre, The Seattle Chinese Garden, Walking on Logs Landscape Restoration Group, West Seattle Tool Library, Nantes Park, Duwamish Longhouse & Cultural Center, Nature Consortium and Lincoln Park P-Patch.
