The Quicken Tree will be an ambitious new work, loosely based on Spencer's text, which leads the audience through Edinburgh's landmark garden. The project will develop new ways of presenting music as part of a theatrical spectacle, featuring suspended musicians, playing in the space and light of each stage. A truly interactive experience, it will include music and sound installations, live music, created by a team of experienced arts professionals and performed by music students and professional dancers and actors. The story will unfold through songs created by and with the children.

Children 3 and under may attend the show for free but they must have a ticket to enter the Garden. A new ticket price for under 3 and under has been added. Concession tickets end at 16 years unless in full time education. |
