THE BLACKOUT BOWL at ROLLERBOWL LANES

Every April for the last 20 years we have celebrated our annual three-night rocknroll party, Blackoutfest at The Union. Sadly, due to the Union St. Fire, our 20-year celebration is being put on hold until the venue re-opens. I couldn't host that party anywhere else.

With The Nelsonville Music Festival coming up, I thought it would be great to host an event that not only celebrates Blackoutfest, but also could potentially help raise money and awareness for NMF and Stuart's Opera House, who does a lot more for our community than simply throw one of the best parties in the country every year.

PLEASE join me in celebrating Blackoutfest, The Union, Nelsonville Music Fest, and all the great times we've had together through the years rocking and rolling in Athens at the very first BLACKOUT BOWL!

Adult beverages will be served by our friends at Stuart's Opera House, and FREE BOWLING will be available to all attendees, all night. Kids under 16 get in free (if accompanied by parents). Of course similar to Blackoutfest, there are some amazing bands lined up to play. Cheap Time (Nashville TN), Shilpa Ray (NYC), The Greg Ashley Band (Oakland CA), Sportfishing U.S.A. (Seattle WA), Speaking Suns (Yellow Springs OH), Blam Blams, Hex Net and more.
