Morgiana'a Bellydance and All That Jazz
Dancelocker presents Bellydance and All That Jazz on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 5:00 PM at Cecil's Jazz Club, 364 Valley Rd., West Orange, NJ. Hosted by professional dancer Morgiana Celeste of Glen Ridge-based Mosaic Dance Theater Company, this month's Sunday Showcase features performances by Morgiana, Middle Eastern dancer Gia and the Urban Desert Dancers, and dancers from Studio Morgiana. Also performing are Special Guests Dianna, Liz, and Percussionist Luis Manuel. Reserved tickets are $12.00 in advance. Reservations are strongly recommended. Unreserved tickets are available at the door for $15.00, cash only. There is $10.00 food or beverage minimum for all. The Sunday Showcase, scheduled every other month, features New Jersey dancers and teachers of Middle Eastern dance and their students, and is suitable for the entire family. It offers a chance to see professional and student dancers of varying levels, performing classical oriental dance, various folklore styles, as well as fusion and interpretive dance pieces.
