FOLLIES VANITIES SCANDALS
Ron Youngman will be singing classic American popular music from Tin Pan Alley, musicals, revues and vaudeville from 1900 thru the 1930's partnered with the piano of Carol Schmidt. These songs were introduced in the shows and vaudeville houses in New York....Ziegfeld Follies, Earl Carroll Vanities and George White Scandals, the Palace and Berlin's Music Box Theater. Songs that were written by Gershwin, Berlin, Porter and respected tunesmiths of the day will fill the hall. Several of the songs will be sung in the manner of the leading performers of the day: Jolson, Canter, Tucker, Steele, Crosby, Columbo and more. Come and share the joy and delight of the Golden Age of American popular music.
