H$M presents LAZER SWORD
Lazer Sword (LIVE) - San Fransisco / Berlin
http://lazersword.net/blog/

Lazer Sword is a San Francisco/Berlin-based live electronic act and production duo at the frontline of an emerging sound "a future music€" fusing anything from rap, electro, house, disco, or even grime together to birth a raw and exciting listener experience. On stage, the group presents their material to the audience as a heavily improvised live production showdown, equally emphasizing the performance element and the dance club environment.
A result of their vast range of output and influences, (the two share a penchant for hiphop, house, disco, garage, psychedelic rock, electro, early synthesizer music, and so on..), they've built themselves a reputation as a uniquely versatile act, sharing the stage with such acts as Flying Lotus, Mary Anne Hobbs, Hudson Mohawke, MSTRKRFT, Rustie, Plastician, The Cool Kids, and others.

In their first years of existence, Lazer Sword had managed to achieve much praise and support throughout the US, and internationally, all before releasing a record. By ways of word-of-mouth of their powerful live show, and an ever-increasing slew of remixes and mixtapes online, they had already built a suitable following in the states and Europe alike. Now, after just enough time spent polishing their vision, they've caught attention of some powerhouse labels in the US and abroad, and have been put to work for projects and commissioned remixes for the past year strong.

Most recent in their release schedule is The Golden Handshake EP, released March 15 by Glasgow based Numbers (the ultra-cool super-conglomerate formed of the minds behind Wireblock, Stuffrecords and Dress2Sweat). Presently being championed from an international array of tastemakers including Crookers, Starkey, Daedelus, Jackmaster, and The Gaslamp Killer, the EP has also landed many appearances in the featured or 'recommended' sections at choice web retailers including Boomkat and Bleep. As the
masses await the full-length Lazer Sword album they've promised us (for early July release on shiny new Los-Angeles imprint Innovative Leisure), lookout for some surprises and limited 7" releases to hold listeners over.
Their European visit in May '10, was the fourth overseas tour for Lazer Sword over the past two years; in past visits they've played many key cities including London (Fabric), Glasgow (Sub Club), Amsterdam, and others"

NovaTRON (LIVE)
Innerflight [SEA] || Space Island [LA]
http://soundcloud.com/novatron

Don't call him a DJ. NovaTRON is a button-smashing, knob-ripping, liveset-hardware hurricana of musical improvisation.
Every set is a product of on-the-fly composition, a flowing myriad of musical stylings touching on dub,
glitch, breaks, hip-hop, and undefinable bass that is carved out moment by moment on his patented
"Tron Box". Ever changing, ever growing, NovaTRON promises a truly unique experience to the listener,
with his organic live sets that capture the ephemeral nature of art and existence and strap it down with a
thick layer of bass before letting it go on it's way out to the world and into your body.
