Elegies, is loosely based on the AIDS Memorial Quilt and covers the broad spectrum of those affected by AIDS. Each character steps forward and tells their stories in a series of monologues of Comedy, Tragedy and Humour, accompanied by original music of Jazz, Pop, and Gospel.
Elgies was written by Bill Russell(SIde Show)and Janet Hood.
St. Louis Native Ellen Foley(Meatloaf's "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" and TV's "Night Court") returns to perform in Elegies, along with National GLBT Recording artist Toby Madigan(National Equality March 'Song Idol' contest winner and performed at the opening ceremonies) along with Jeffrey Pruett, Katy Tibbets, and Nikki Sweets on vocals.
