Ear to the Ground Theatre is back with "Not All Clowns are Bozos III:
Clowning Me Softly"

With everything from physical comedy to poignant personal revelation, the third installment of Ear to the Ground's popular "Not All Clowns are Bozos" will gently lead you to the banana peel to show you that clowns are more than just standard circus fare. "Clowning Me Softly" promises even more fuel for your funny bone.

In an effort to expose Seattle audiences to theatrical clowning, Ear to the Ground first premiered in "Not All Clowns are Bozos" in 2008 to packed houses. Says director Cecelia Frye, "In our work, we encounter a surprising number of people who think clowns are scary or just for kids.  We have specifically designed an evening of theatre for such folks.  We hope they'll come and see that there's another brand of clowning out there that can be touching, funny, and sweet.  There's nothing scary or dumbed-down about what we do.  Indeed, not all clowns are Ronald McDonald, Bozo, or that creepy clown from Poltergeist."

"Not All Clowns are Bozos III: Clowning Me Softly" brings award winning talents who have charmed audiences from Teatro Zinzanni to Singapore. Featuring Luke Saylor and Garth Brewe, Christopher Bange, Linda Severt, Xan Scott and Noah Parriott, Jenna Bean Veatch and Naomi Russell, Janet Rayor, Unicycle Collective's Mary Purdy and UMO Ensemble founders Janet McAlpin and David Godsey. The show is directed by Ear to the Ground Artistic Associate Cecelia Frye.

Located in Seattle, WA, Ear to the Ground is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
