The Umbrella Plays
A man arrives lost and wet, exposed. A chance encounter, a glance of a moment, a catalyst, a catapult. So begins The Umbrella Plays, seven interconnecting snapshot-sized pieces, where stormy weather comes and goes, lovers are sought and lost and found, ambitions jump the tracks and hopes gets renewed, as a handful of disparate urban lives come to light and sometimes collide, connected by a shared search for shelter, in whatever form it may be found. In
the world of these seven stories, sometimes an umbrella is not just an umbrella. (Winner, Outstanding Play, NYC Fringe.)
