4th event in 2010 Green Business Networking Luncheon Series
Unico's efforts to "green" the Bank of America Financial Center in Spokane are an inspiration to us all. In addition to Energy Star certification, they instituted the first whole building recycling program downtown and are working toward LEED-Existing Building recognition as well. Their green lease provisions help retain the advantages these programs bring by encouraging consistent tenant behavior.
Brett Phillips, their Sustainability Manager, addressed financing energy retrofits and how to make a project pencil out in a recent Sustainable Industries webinar. Liz Fitzgerald Is Unico's Property Manager in Boise and Spokane where she plays a key role in their implementation of sustainable practices. Their combined stories and experience guarantee a fascinating and informative presentation for the final luncheon in this year's Green Business Networking Series. Stay tuned for 2011!
Menu: Washington organic chicken breast. Fresh vegetable fettuccini. Warm chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream. $15
