Merry Fucking Christmas and other plays about holiday cheer promises to be the most irreverent, shocking, and hilariously disturbing antidote to the holiday season. Eight short plays by Josh McIlvain are performed by an ensemble of Philadelphia's finest theater artists: Chris McGovern and Domenick Scudera of the Waitstaff (The Real Housewives of South Philly), Jennifer Summerfield of Curio Theater (The Iliad) and Boat Hole, Anna Watson of Theatre Inbetween (Teenager: Anne Frank), and John Rosenberg of hellafreshtheater (Cheap Guy Hall of Fame). Sharply funny, sometimes outrageously raunchy, the plays dissect the absurdities of holiday traditions while creating a few of their own. Merry Fucking Christmas provides audiences with a raucous hour of escape from holiday stress.
