Open Circle Theater is pleased to announce the return of its annual smash hit holiday disaster, The Judy Garland Christmas Special.
It's 1963 and the producers of Judy Garland's tv show have decided she needs a nice Christmas special at home with the whole family; lovely Liza, cutie Lorna and little flambouyant Joey. But Judy's no where to be found. When she finally shows just in time for taping, clearly on the heels of last night's bender, can the producers keep her on the set and off the booze?
Starring local favorite, Troy Mink, as Judy and based on the actual, infamous 1963 tv special, Judy promises to put the fun in dysfunctional televised holiday celebrations. Come make the yuletide gay with the most hysterical comedy this Christmas.
