For the first time (Stand-Up Style) comes to Naked City Brewery. Hosted by, Kortney Shane Williams.
Kortney is an accomplished comedian that has opened for David Alan Grier, Dave Chappelle, and regularly opens for Hannibal Buress. He's appeared on Comedy Time, Fox's Laugh TV, and The 206 on NBC. He has been a part of The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, and Bumbershoot Arts festival
What is (Stand-Up Style)??
"What is (Stand-Up Style)? I thought you'd never ask, mystical voice inside my head."
(Stand-Up Style) is a comedy showcase that features international touring Stand-Up comedians, and some up-and-coming local openers. This is not an open mic or an amateur night. This is a professional showcase, that's guaranteed to be a great night of comedy, and not one that turns your one night out, into a 3 hour marathon of unfunny; which ends up being more depressing than entertaining. Leaving you thinking, "I should have stayed home and watched Seinfeld reruns."
The shows starts at a reasonable hour, so you can't get home and make sure your kids haven't set your house on fire. The early start time also makes it convenient for people who have to work the next day. So you can keep your job, and not have to resort to a life of crime.
