Experience the founding fathers as you have never have before! This Tony Award-winning classic will get a brand new perspective with an all-female cast portraying historical figures such as John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, and the rest of the colonial gang.
Take a peek inside the hallowed halls of Congress and find it filled with crotchety drunks, Southern fops, innocent Quakers, a proud Scotsman, befuddled secretaries, sycophants, and passionate congressmen who are willing to go to blows for their beliefs. Audiences will laugh at the witty banter, waggle their eyebrows at the raging libidos, shift uncomfortably as congressmen defend slavery, and find themselves fully invested in how in god's name this country began, from convincing Jefferson to write the damn thing to the nail-biting conclusion (hint: our national food sure ain't bangers and mash).
