Goldie was one of the first superstars produced by the British dance music scene. For the first time, England had a beat-maestro and tough-guy head that could match the scores of larger-than-life hip-hop stars America had produced. Goldie has done it all in the world of DnB from producing the largest selling album of all time to running the infamous Metalheadz record label. Including touring with Bjork and Rage Against the Machine, Goldie has crossed over dance music boundaries even further by producing music for mainstream acts such as The Fugees, KRS One, and Slipknot.
