AMBER
Acclaimed by the New York Times, NEW HUE is a dinner experience series fusing gourmet cuisine, live music, circus arts, immersive video installations, and fire performance. Each episode of New Hue is color themed and seasonally oriented. AMBER will be the third NEW HUE production, the autumnal edition. The first edition was RED, a three course feast celebrating Chinese New Years and Valentines Day with dragons, golden lions, red paper lanterns, outrageous costumes, and over thirty performers including stilt-walking waiters and violinists, a traditional Chinese New Years song with live Ehru, a massage therapist, and a fire dance duet ending in a passionate kiss. BLUE served a sushi and tapas style meal in the heat of July. There were flaming ice sculptures, fire performers spinning blue flame, showers of feathers, an unbelievable assortment of live musicians playing instruments as diverse as the theramin and more. Every NEW HUE event has its own unique flavor, but they all feature three hours of prix fixe fine dining that surrounds the guests with an ever-changing, 360 panorama of performers, video, music, ambiance, and first class service.

AMBER is a color that glows from within, a precious stone, a musky perfume and an artifact preserved over generations. AMBER has inspired the latest installation of NEW HUE live dinner theater, a celebration of community, an intimate gathering where one can share the bounty amassed for you, our guest. Caterers from Betty Brooklyn are preparing a locally harvested home style meal. DJ Jon Margulies will be spinning his down home style hobotech music accompanied by live instruments and live video installation from The Housewife's Guide to Anatomy. Belly dancers from solstice ensemble, aerialists, stilt walkers and fire performers from lady circus and musicians will provide entertainment to accompany this feast. Candle lit dining and immersive ambiance set the mood with added delights such as massage artists, portrait photography and tarot readings. Share this journey of the senses with friends and family, a perfect event to come together and celebrate life.
