'Gluten-Free Girl and The Chef - A Love Story' Book Launch Party
The excitement from the New York City launch of "Gluten-Free Girl and The Chef - A Love Story" continues as the couple returns to their West Coast home on Vashon Island where Danny is the chef at the historic Hardware Store Restaurant.
Come to the local launch of Shauna and Danny's long-awaited cookbook. The party will be held at The Hardware Store Restaurant on Sunday, October 3rd, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Festivities will include meeting the authors - world-famous food blogger, Shauna James Ahern, known to many as "The Gluten-Free Girl", and husband, Danny Ahern, 'The Chef'.
"Guests will sample five delicious dishes from the cookbook, including seared shrimp with garlic almond sauce and warm focaccia with curried red lentil puree, all cooked by the Chef. Each guest will also receive a signature Hardware Store cocktail. The community will be out in force, laughing, eating, and celebrating. It's going to be a great party."
Tickets can be purchased on Brown Paper Tickets or on-site at The Hardware Store Restaurant prior to the event. The $50 admission provides guests with their own copy of the book, to be personally signed by the authors, food, drink and great company. Choose the $25 ticket if you already have your book. After the event, The Hardware Store Restaurant will re-open for dinner, featuring a special menu of gluten-free fare.
Vashon Island is located in the heart of Washington State's Puget Sound, just a 20 minute ferry ride from West Seattle or Tacoma.
