The main goal of this CASI Quebec course is to give an introduction to Matlab, its programming and plotting basic functionalities. Examples based on aircraft dynamics will be proposed to apply key elements. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) will be developed to encompass all learned knowledge.
Course Lecturer: Sandrine De Jesus Mota (Engineering Professional - Flight Simulation, Bombardier Aerospace) Sandrine completed her Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering with a specialization in Command and Systems at École Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile (ESTACA) in France. She also got a Master degree at École de Technologie Supérieure with a research project on aircraft dynamics modelling techniques. She joined Flight Sciences in 2009, where she is working on parameter estimation process and design of optimal maneuver for aerodynamic model update.
Language: English - This is a one-day course from 9am to 4pm. - Students will be required to share a computer with a partner. - A certificate of completion will be provided to students.
