Eddie Adcock - Central Coast Events
Q & A and Workshop with Eddie Adcock on Wednesday, March 25
Join at the Last Stage West for an unusual close-up event in which Roger Siminoff will be conducting an in-person interview with Eddie about his background, playing styles, instrument choices, techniques, experiences, and more.
UPDATE: At the end of the interview, we're in for a treat: Eddie will give a hands-on workshop, demonstrating and explaining licks and how to improvise. Even if you don't play banjo, you might also want to consider participating because Eddie doesn't just show banjo licks; he goes into the "why's" and "how's" of chord progressions, backup theory, ideas about rhythm, and more - and it's helpful to anyone who plays bluegrass. Absolutely an evening to remember!
The program begins at 6:00pm. The Last Stage West is located on Rt 41, halfway between Morro Bay and Atascadero. This program is coordinated by "Banjer Dan" (Dan Mazer) with food and beverages available at the venue. (Doors open at 3:00pm if you want to come early and have dinner before the program). The admission fee is $15.00 for advance on-line ticket purchases, or $18.00 at the door. All proceeds for this event go to the Adcocks.
House Concert: Eddie and Martha Adcock on Thursday, March 26.
Eddie and Martha Adcock will be performing a house concert at the home of Duane Inglish in Garden Farms, California. The program will be kicked off with a brief solo banjo/vocal opening performance by musician/composer Erin Inglish, followed by an evening with the Adcocks. Erin is a tour-de-force banjo songstress, a thoughtful wanderer raised in the thick of California's music scene.
Concert begins at 6:00pm. Wine and beer will be served (donations, please). The admission fee is $18.00 with advance on-line ticket purchase or $20.00 at the door.
Seating is limited to 40, so we recommend early purchase of your tickets. Directions will be sent upon purchase of your tickets. All proceeds for this event go to the Adcocks.
