NYC Charter Bus to Farm Chores Day at Catskill Animal Sanctuary, September 18th!
Welcome Fall with Catskill Animal Sanctuary critters on Saturday, September 18th, 10-4pm! It's our annual work party: pitch in painting, landscaping, tending the garden, and cleaning pastures, all while enjoying the crisp air, the fall foliage, and the camraderie of two and four-legged friends. The Good Chef Kev will serve up a fabulous vegan lunch, and director Kathy Stevens will read from her second book, Animal Camp: Lessons in Love and Hope from Rescued Farm Animals. (Release date September 8th; pre-ordering available at Amazon.com). Purchase your seat ($35 per person) on the roundtrip NYC charter bus to CAS -- capacity is limited, so don't wait! The NYC charter bus will leave at exactly 8am from 20 East 9th Street (corner of University Place) in downtown Manhattan and arrive at CAS by 10am, and will depart CAS at exactly 4pm for one drop-off back at 20 East 9th Street. The West 4th Street/Washington Square, 8th Street/NYU, Astor Place, and 14th Street/Union Square subway stops are within easy walking distance.
