Living Downstream in Bloomington-Normal (Film Screening)
Living Downstream will be screening on October 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Normal Theater in Normal, IL!
Based on the acclaimed book by Illinois native, ecologist, and cancer survivor Sandra Steingraber, Ph.D., Living Downstream is a visceral and cinematic documentary. This film follows Sandra across North America (and back to central Illinois) as she works to break the silence about cancer and its environmental links.
Join author Sandra Steingraber and filmmaker Chanda Chevannes at the Normal Theater as they present Living Downstream in one of five screenings in Illinois this October. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session and a book signing of the newly updated second edition of Living Downstream, hosted by Babbitt's Books.
This screening is a a special presentation of The Land Connection.
*NOTE: Tickets purchased online using the "will call" option will be held at the Normal Theater, and can be collected one hour before the screening. Tickets will are available online and by phone from Brown Paper Tickets until the end of the day on October 16.
In person, advance tickets are available at The Garlic Press at 108 North Street in Normal.
