Sima Trio (piano, violin and cello)
Praised for their "powerful" and "heartfelt" interpretations of classical and ethnic repertoire, Sima trio is becoming one of the leading, young trios of its generation. Connected by their Armenian heritage, the members of the trio have studied at Julliard, Yale, Manhattan School of Music and Mannes. They all have won top prize in international competitions and have performed at Carnegie Hall and other major venues around the world. They will perform piano trios by Haydn, Mendelssohn (D minor) and Dvorak (Dumky)
