Farm-to-Table, A Dinner in the Vineyard
Join Slow Food Katy Trail for our second annual Farm-to-Table "Dinner-in-the-Vineyard" event! We will start with a tour of the new Les Bourgeois wine-making facility, then venture into the vineyards for a tour and taste of the vines. Finally, we'll gather around the table as we feast on five fabulous courses, while paying tribute to some of our best local farmers and artisans--all of whom will be dining with us! Delectable local products will be prepared by four of Columbia's best chefs: Mike Odette (Sycamore), Aaron Wells-Morgan (Les Bourgeois Blufftop Bistro), Brook Harlan (Columbia Area Career Center Culinary Arts program) and Craig Cyr (The Wine Cellar & Bistro). These chefs will create a dining experience that will showcase the best efforts of our local farmers and artisans. All will be enjoyed with wine from Les Bourgeois and live jazz from the John G. Stewart trio! Join Slow Food Katy Trail, other food enthusiasts, the chefs, farmers, artisans and musicians for a truly unforgettable event.
