Road Trip to Pluto: The Bitter Planet
The whole universe knew that Pluto was bitter when he lost his planet status, but he went too far when he kidnapped the beloved, bespectacled host of the popular-amongst-pinkos show, Fresh Air. NPR soon unleashed the awesome power of Public Radio.
After taking a couple years off to have babies (and to make the babies they already had even better) Bitter Show is back in the San Francisco Fringe Fest. Bitter Show is a sketch comedy super group group who, after taking on the Action Movie (with a vengeance, of course) with 2008s There's a Monster in the Well, the satirical Salieris have set their blaster sights on Sci-Fi genre. Road Trip to Pluto features a stage show that looks like a B-Movie, movies that look like stage shows, 4 1/2 kidnappings, a tri-breasted space prostitute and Glen Beck. Two Glen Becks were harmed in the making of Road Trip to Pluto.
