Redhook Sausagefest
What could be better than Redhook beer, meat, music and football all in one festival? Nothing.
Redhook Sausagefest takes place on September 18th 2010, from noon-7pm at the Redhook Ale Brewery in Woodinville WA. As a toast to another great summer in the Northwest, this beer fest offers one last chance to kick back, enjoy the weather and a few of your favorite things. On September 18th the lush grounds of the Redhook Brewery will be transformed into a vibrant festival that's all about local music, great craft beer and man's favorite food... meat.
The Beer: a collection of delicious Redhook beers, including a new meat inspired creation and our trusty favorites.
The Music: a lineup of popular local bands endorsed by KEXP will play on the main stage all day. Bands: The Black Whales, Hillstomp, The Lights, Sallie Ford & the Sound Outside and Hey Marseilles.
The Meat: We will have local food vendors serving meat-centric dishes. A vendor sneak peak - Salumi will be serving up a salami sampler, Uli's Famous Sausage will have a sausage sampler, Fletcher's Redhook ESB brats will be served up at Forecaster's booth, Dante's Inferno Dogs will provide bacon wrapped brats, jalapeno & cheese sausage and more. We will have the best BBQ in Seattle, gourmet cheeses, beef jerky and beef sticks, maple bacon ice cream and much more.
The Competition: As you enjoy our beer and sample your way through the grounds, you will have the chance to cast your vote for your favorite vendor. Local chefs and foodies will also judge the vendors and award a "Grand Prize" to the best of show.
The Entertainment: Beyond the beer, food and music there will also be a live viewing party for the UW vs. Nebraska game on a jumbo screen. Additionally there will be a Redhook Sausagefest interactive mural, a rock climbing wall, a corn-hole (bean bag toss) area, a meat raffle, merchandise booth and giveaways.
The Admission: Pre-sale tickets go for $5 which includes a festival mug and can be purchased through BrownPaperTickets.com and at Redhook's Forecaster's Pub. $10 tickets at the door (includes festival mug). Beer and food tokens will be sold on-site for $1 per token (no pre-sale tokens). Food samples will be purchased by attendees with tokens at each vendor booth.
The Cause: Redhook is a loyal partner of The Market Foundation which raises funds to support the four human service agencies located in Pike Place Market the Pike Market Medical Clinic, Senior Center, Child Care & Preschool, and Downtown Food Bank. One dollar from every ticket sold and 10% of all vendor merchandise we will donate back to the Market Foundation in efforts to support our communities.
