Many Hands CD Release Show with Dan Zanes, Elizabeth Mitchell, Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem, and more!
This afternoon of music at the classic Pines Theater will celebrate the release of a star-studded family music CD, Many Hands, by local label Spare the Rock Records. Net proceeds will be donated to the Haitian People's Support Project. Scheduled performers include Dan Zanes, Elizabeth Mitchell & Family, Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, Tony Vacca, Grenadilla, and the Deedle Deedle Dees. Thanks to the generosity of The Toy Box, the concert will have ASL interpreting too.
The Many Hands CD includes new music from all of the performing artists (other than local hero Tony Vacca), plus new music from They Might Be Giants, Pete Seeger, Jonathan Coulton, and many others. The hour-long CD is available as of August 10 through local retailers and online at Amazon and iTunes. Details and links to order are online at http://manyhandscd.com.
Tickets at the gate will cost $8 for kids, $11 for adults.
