About Randy Kaplan: Nickelodeon's Parentsconnect has chosen Randy's new CD "The Kids Are All Id" as a "Parent Pick" for 2010. Offering a Woody Guthrie-esque style that blends a chatty kind of storytelling with an eclectic range of rootsy music, Kaplan paints a humorous and poignant picture with every song.
About Recess Monkey: Though not entirely raised in the trees, this group of (in their own words)"excitable, friendly, and charming" Seattle-based teachers/performers knows how to monkey around with the latest sound that always gets their audiences (usually young homo sapiens) up and swinging! People Magazine gave the band's new CD "The Final Funktier" a four-star review.
Note: Due to illness, Johnny Bregar will be unable to perform. Eric Herman, famous for his "Elephant Song," will perform in Johnny's place.
