"Dress My Language" Charity Fashion Show

Blank Canvas presents "Dress My Language" Charity Fashion Show hosted by Chicago's Pop Princess Demi Lobo.

Blank Canvas Management is working with local models, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, and photographers to pull off our first fashion show successfully. The charity fashion show, "Dress My Language," and its after party will occur on July 29, 2010 from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the New Regal Theater, located on Chicago's Southside. The show speaks on the fact that fashion transcends the limitations of the runway and the elitist view. Fashion is about inclusive humanity -- giving each human being a chance to create his or her own identity through free expression through personal appearance.

A portion of proceeds will directly benefit The Link & Option Center, Inc.: Linking Youth with OptionsSM Teen REACH Program, an Illinois state recognized afterschool program. The organization works as a support system for youth ages 6 - 17 encouraging social, creative, physical and cognitive development. The "Dress My Language" charity fashion show aligns with goals of the organization by incorporating creativity into everyday attire. The theme will be a cultural blend of fashion from destinations across the globe holding onto the idea that everyone's style has its own language.
