Ed Begley, Jr. is an American actor and environmentalist. Begley is perhaps best known for his role as Dr. Mark Craig's intern, Dr. Victor Ehrlich on the television series St. Elsewhere, for which he received six consecutive Emmy nominations. He recently had a reality show about green living called Living with Ed on Planet Green, with his wife, actress Rachelle Carson. Ed will be featured keynote speaker, "Live Simply So Others Can Simply Live".
Coates Design Architects, with offices on Bainbridge Island and Seattle, specialize in sustainable design and green building. The firm recently achieved a LEED Platinum certificate for a residential project on Bainbridge Island- the first LEED Platinum certificate for a residential project in the State of Washington, outside of the City of Seattle. Matthew Coates will give a presentation about the Ellis Residence, one of the greenest homes in Washington State.
