Produced by TUTA Theatre Chicago, MUSIC HALL is a US premiere play by acclaimed French writer Jean-Luc Lagarce, A funny and deeply moving story of three fading cabaret performers who act, sing, and dance every night, MUSIC HALL explores the vulnerability of the life of a theater artist and what it takes to endure it year after year. With the Chicago and New York premieres of MUSIC HALL, TUTA remains true to their trademark style of infusing musicality into the heart of the work.
French writer, Jean-Luc Lagarce, has in recent years risen from obscurity to become one of the most widely produced playwrights in all of Europe. Director Djukic returns to Lagarce, after previously directing the two critically acclaimed US premieres of RULES FOR GOOD MANNERS IN THE MODERN WORLD (Chicago & NYC) and IT'S ONLY THE END OF THE WORLD (Chicago).
