kerPlunk dance

kerPlunk dance is a collective of experienced dancers from all over the country that have somehow found their way to the urbanized chaos of New York City. Founded by Katherine Richardson in January of 2010, kerPlunk's performances have spanned three burrows of New York City as well as Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Massachuesetts.

In it's inaugural year, kerPlunk dance has had the opportunity to present work in the D.U.M.B.O Dance Festival, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Mt. Vernon Performance Spaces, Maryland Council for Dance State Festival, Cool New York Festival, The Charles River Dance Festival. kerPlunk is also looking forward to their upcoming performance at Jacob's Pillow Inside/ Out Series this coming August 2010.

Come join kerPlunk dance for an evening of movement and music at the beautiful and historic City Center Studios! kerPlunk dance will be presenting two new works along side their trademark piece "Fixed Observations" and the quirky "A Kwadril". Hope to see you there!
