IndieCade Festival 2010: Conference Registration
IndieCade is the only stand-alone international festival of independent games in the nation. It draws the best independent games from around-the-world and celebrates them at the heart of the festival enhanced by gameplay, social events, and a dynamic conference. To know IndieCade, one must experience it...
Overview: The 2010 IndieCade Festival's conference program will take place in multiple venues throughout downtown Culver City. Festivities begin with the opening party on the evening of Thursday, October 7th and conclude at the audience choice award party Sunday, October 10th.
Each day of the conference is made up of three parts. Mornings are comprised of talks, panels and salons, while afternoons center on gallery visits, gameplay, and artist conversations. The evenings are given over to special events.
IndieCade promotes the innovative culture of independent games through a lively and accessible mix of talks, panel discussions, informal conversations and gallery conversations involving independent game creators, game industry professionals, journalists and critics. IndieCade's 2010 conference is co-chaired by Richard Lemarchand (Naughty Dog, Uncharted 2) and John Sharp (SCAD).
In addition, IndieCade's festival offers many other activities including a downtown "gamewalk" filled with hands-on gameplay, street games, creative workshops, open-to-the-public activities, family and youth activities, social events, and much more....
